Motivation

To be able to communicate with your applicants via your own phone number/WhatsApp Business account you must first create a Meta Business account or, if available, connect your existing Meta Business account account via our embedded sign-Up.

Requirements

Telephone number where you can receive a verification code by SMS or phone call. This can be a mobile number or landline number. It must be free and not already be used for WhatsApp.
Facebook account that has administrator access to your company's Meta Business account. If your company does not yet have a Meta Business account, you can create one now via our embedded meta sign up.
A valid credit card is required to configure your WhatsApp Business account. This is necessary because Meta may charge additional fees for specific types of conversations. For more details, check this article.

If you have previously used a test number from us and...

only use the bot, please go to FunnelBridge > Settings > Application bot setup
also use messaging, please go to FunnelBridge > Settings > Direct Communication Setup.

Now select the option “Disconnect and connect own number”:

Start the embedded signup

If you have the phone number and your Facebook account to hand, you can now create a WhatsApp Business account via your existing Meta Business account or create a new one if necessary:

1.Login to your Facebook account

After you click “Continue via Meta Business”, a form will open in a separate window. You can now log in with your Facebook account. ATTENTION: If no window opens, please check whether it has been blocked by your browser settings or has opened on another screen:

2.Permission to connect your WhatsApp Business account

After you have logged in with your Facebook account, you must give us (Ruhr Solutions) permission to link your WhatsApp Business account:

3.Create or choose existing Meta Business account

You can now choose to either create a new Meta Business account or choose an existing account, if you already have one:

You will then be asked for information about your company.

Important: Enter your current company website and not the Recruitee career page. Otherwise there is a risk that your account will be blocked. If you you choose an existing one your company information will automatically be prefilled:

4.Create your WhatsApp Business account

Nex you can give a name for the account and choose the display name which will be shown to your candidates:

5. Verify your phone number

In the last step, you can now enter your telephone number and verify it via SMS or phone call:

6. Add a valid credit card

You will now be asked in FunnelBridge to enter a valid credit card for your WhatsApp Business account. To do this, click on “Open WhatsApp Business payment method”:

You can now deposit your credit card:

Next, ensure that it is also set as the default payment method:

If you have already integrated FunnelBridge into your Recruitee career site with our test number, you will need to enter the integration code with your own number there again.
