How to activate WhatsApp for candidates retroactively

With the successful integration of FunnelBridge into your Recruitee account, a WhatsApp window will automatically appear in the profile of every new candidate. This allows you to communicate directly with all new candidates via WhatsApp, regardless of how they applied.

Enabling the WhatsApp Feature for Existing Candidates

For candidates who were added to Recruitee before the FunnelBridge integration, the WhatsApp window will not appear automatically. However, you can activate it retrospectively.

The same applies to candidates whose phone number was incorrectly saved in Recruitee, making it impossible to contact them via WhatsApp. You can also enable the WhatsApp feature for these profiles retroactively.

Instructions

Follow these steps to activate the WhatsApp window for existing candidate profiles:

  1. Copy the Candidate Profile URL
    Open the profile of the respective candidate in Recruitee and copy the URL.

  2. Access FunnelBridge Settings
    Go to Settings in FunnelBridge and select the section "Activate candidates retrospectively".

  3. Paste the URL and Search
    Paste the copied URL into the search bar and click on the magnifying glass icon.

  4. Activate the WhatsApp Feature
    The candidate will now be displayed. Click the "Activate WhatsApp" button to enable the feature for the profile.

  5. Reload the Profile in Recruitee
    Return to Recruitee, open the respective candidate profile, and reload the page. The WhatsApp window should now appear in the profile.
